Richarlison

Five-time Premier League winners Chelsea have been rocked by the news that Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are also keen on signing Everton player Richarlison.

This revelation was disclosed by the publication from Spanish media outlet AS.

It was revealed that the player’s representatives have met with Atletico Madrid to discuss a possible transfer for the Brazilian international star.

Richarlison has been attracting the interest from clubs like Atletico Madrid and Chelsea thereby leading to Everton slapping an £80m transfer valuation on the 21-year-old.

The Brazilian star signed for Everton at the start of this season in a £40m deal from fellow Premier League club Watford.

His transfer could reach the £50m mark including add-ons.

Richarlison has scored 11 goals for Everton in all competitions with 10 of those goals coming in the Premier League.

Earlier reports had claimed that Chelsea are considering a move for Richarlison as a possible replacement for wantaway Blues talisman Eden Hazard.

Belgian international star Hazard has less than 18 months left on his current deal with the Stamford Bridge outfit but the player has not minced words about his desire to join European champions Real Madrid.

Hazard could join Real Madrid in the summer when he has just one year left on his current Chelsea deal.
