Chelsea vs Arsenal: Coach Unai Emery discloses why he removes Xhaka and Ozil

Arsenal new manager, Unai Emery is not finding the English Premier League all that rosy especially after suffering another defeat in the hands of arch rivals, Chelsea.

The Gunners had lost their first home match against Manchester City with two goals to nothing.

Over the weekend they lost their first away match to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The game between the Chelsea and Arsenal had started with goals from the home team before Arsenal were able to balance it with two goals from their players, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi.

But the second half of the game was a different ball entirely with Unai Emery making some grave substitution.

The Spaniard had removed two midfielders which include Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil and went on to bring in Lucas Torreira and Ramsey Aaron as the replacement.

In the long run, the game ended in 3 – 2 in favour of Chelsea.

Well, the aftermath of the match, Coach Unai Emery disclosed why he removed the two midfielders.

He stated that he removed Xhaka because the player was already having a yellow card, which means he will be careful on his moves.

On the other hand, he removed Mesut Ozil because he wanted a midfielder that can attack as the Germany international was only playing a defensive game.
