Chelsea vs Bournemouth — Sarri set to hand Higuain Premier League debut

The Premier League have been on break for some days due to domestic features that was played last weekend.

On Sunday, Sarri’s men also take a step closer to their first silverware under Maurizio Sarri as they progressed to the FA Cup fifth round after defeating Sheffield Wednesday.

Two goals from Willian and a close-range effort from Hudson-Odoi were all the Blues needed to negotiate their way through to the next round of the competition.

Up next for the Blues is a crunch tie against Bournemouth at the vitality Stadium on Wednesday.

The Cherries are in one of their worst forms since they returned promoted to the Premier League in the 2014-15 season.

Eddie Howe’s men have failed to register a win in their last five Premier League fixtures, hence, the Blues shouldn’t find it difficult outscoring them after the encounter.

Apart from expecting a great performance from their team, Chelsea fans are eager to see how their new signing Gonzalo Higuain will perform in what will be his first Premier League game.

Though the Argentine made his Chelsea debut on Sunday, it was against a championship side and his performance – which was awesome throughout the game – shouldn’t be rated.

The Stamford Bridge faithfuls have so much trust in the attacker’s proficiency and they hope to see him live up to expectations against the struggling Cherries defenders.
