Confirmed!! Arsenal complete first deal ahead of January window
Arsenal have completed a signing that has been hailed as a sensational deal.
The North London club were able to secure the signature of promising South African starlet Jayden Adetiba.
Adetiba is only nine years old but has already caught the attention of big clubs who came for his signature before Arsenal won the race.
According to a report by The Independent, Adetiba had a five-week trial with the North London club’s while in his native South Africa.
The news was broken by the player’s father who happily took to Twitter to boast of his son becoming an official player of the North London club.
Adetiba was mostly seen while playing for local team SuperSport United Soccer School and is tipped to be a future hero of the country with the prospect already being displayed.
Adetiba is also believed to be comfortable in London having spent time in Britain and already used to the environment.
However, there is no assurance that Adetiba would not be seen anytime soon on a bigger stage owing to his age and need for development.
Arsenal enjoyed youth development under former manager Arsene Wenger who would be remembered for nurturing a lot of players from younger ages to maturity.
