The latest report has claimed that former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could be in line for a shock return to the English Premier League in the coming season.

Arsene Wenger only left the job at the North London outfit last summer after a 22-year spell has been out of the job as he earlier stated that he would love to take a break from management, to catch-up with his hobby of traveling and drawing.

However, it is claimed that an agent who has a strong link with the former Arsenal boss is convinced that a deal can go down as Arsene Wenger remains the best man for the job with Rafa Benitez rumoured to be leaving the club at the end of one season.

The likes of Gennaro Gattuso, Eddie Howe and David Moyes have been linked with the role, but Arsene Wenger has also emerged as a shock contender and tipped to and the job.

Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger had earlier hinted that he does not see the possibility of returning to the English Premier League as he would not feel comfortable facing his former side.

Howbeit, the future of Rafa Benitez is yet to be settled at St James Park as the management are yet to give an official statement.
