It has been reported that the North London outfit Arsenal are making efforts to hand their two strikers Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang new and improved deals that will have them remain at the club for a longer period of time.

Both strikers have been identified as big friends on and off the pitch but more to their friendship is the goalscoring form they both share of lately.

Arsenal’s success so far in the Europa League has been attributed to the two players and there are suggestions that they will help the team with their performance again in the finals of the competition against West London outfit Chelsea.

It would be recalled that the duo were the goalscoring heroes against Valencia in the Europa League semi-final where Arsenal scored seven goals over the two legs. Alexandre Lacazette had scored with two and Aubameyang once in the 3-1 win at the Emirates, then Aubameyang scored a hat- trick and Lacazette the other in a 4-2 victory in Spain.

In a bid to avoid repeating the mistake made by Arsenal of losing a great player like Wales international Aaron Ramsey for nothing to the Italian Serie A outfit Juventus, there are already plans to commit the two-star players for a longer stay at the Emirates Stadium.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker currently earns £190,000 weekly wage at the Emirates Stadium. It is claimed that it would be improved to the region of £250, 000 while same will be done to the former Lyon striker.

The Gabon international striker currently has 20-goals, 2 behind leading scorers which means scoring another hat trick in the last Premier League game could have him win the golden boot.
