Kalidou Koulibaly

French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are said to be plotting a summer move for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly according to reports emanating from the media in France.

Koulibaly is one of the most sought-after defensive players ahead of the resumption of the transfer window this summer.

According to Le10sport, PSG want to rebuild their defence this summer with club skipper Thiago Silva likely to leave at the end of this season.

It was revealed that Kalidou Koulibaly has been identified as the quality replacement for the Brazilian international centre back.

Senegalese international Koulibaly has been attracting the interest of two major Premier League clubs for the better part of the last one year.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United have been on the trail of Kalidou Koulibaly dating back to last year.

The Senegalese defender is seen by many as one of the top defenders in world football alongside Liverpool star Virgil Van Dijk and Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos.

He was strongly linked with Chelsea when Blues boss Maurizio Sarri became manager last summer.

Manchester United are known admirers of the player with reports claiming that the Red Devils have already had two bids rejected for the defender.

The Red Devils are ready to pay as much as £85m for the aforementioned Koulibaly.
