Arsenal manager Unai Emery has assured that Reiss Nelson will return back to the Emirates Stadium after his loan spell in Germany.

Nelson was asked to go on loan Hoffenheim but his performance at the club has earned him lots of praise with suggestions that he would return as early as in January to further his development with his mother club.

The former PSG manager therefore refused to state when Nelson will return from his loan spell but assured that the English lad has got a future at the club and will definitely return.

The 18-year-old who signed a new three-year contract extension with the Gunners before leaving on a loan move has scored a total of 10 goals across all competitions for the German side, scoring five goals.

Spanish manager Emery expressed confidence in Nelson to take responsibility and also possess the confidence needed to play anywhere, adding that the objective of the North London club is to have him back to continue his development.

Emery stated that with his experience, he is confident that Nelson can achieve a lot with his loan move as he expressed delight that he is improving at the moment because he has been identified as part of the club’s future.
