ESPN pundit delivers heartbreaking claim on Arsenal, Man United

North London outfit Arsenal fans will be devastated after learning the claims made by ESPN pundit Steve Nicol on the race for the top four finish for a Champions League qualification.

The Gunners had brightened their chances by defeating the Red Devils by 2-0 at the weekend at the Emirates Stadium and they are now sitting in the fourth position with Man United behind them.

Despite all of these, Steve Nicol feels the North London outfit will not secure a Champions League qualification by finishing fourth, rather they will finish behind Man United at the end of the season.

He noted that the North London outfit have got distractions to deal with which will be the criteria against them in the race except they are eliminated from the Europa League later on Thursday night.

Giving reasons for tipping Man United, Steve Nicol said he is not comfortable with the backline of Gunners and cannot bank on them to stop the team from conceding goals.

He, therefore, urged the Gunners to put more efforts and concentrate on the Europa League as they stand a better chance in qualifying to the Champions League than a top-four finish, tipping Man United to end ahead of them.
