21-Year-Old Chelsea Loanee Bags Player Award At Derby

Derby County defender Fikayo Tomori has been rewarded for his superb performances for the Rams this season after he was named the Player of the Year at the club.

The Chelsea loanee bagged the Player of the Year Award at English Championship club Derby County for the season as voted for by supporters.

Nigerian-born English center back Tomori is on a season-long deal at Derby County from Premier League giants Chelsea at the moment.

Fikayo Tomori joined the Rams at the start of this season and he has become a key player for the Derby County team managed by Chelsea legend Frank Lampard.

Derby County manager Lampard is the record goalscorer at Chelsea.

Tomori is one of two Chelsea players on loan at Derby County alongside Mason Mount.

Fikayo Tomori has helped the Rams to 13 clean sheets in 46 appearances in all competitions this term.

His form has propelled Derby County to one of the Premier League playoff spot on the English Championship table ahead of the weekend’s big clash with Bristol City.

Derby County and Bristol City are fighting for just one spot in the Championship Playoffs at the moment as things stand and the two teams meet in Bristol for a game that will go a long way in deciding who gets the final spot.
