Ashley Young

Manchester United have finally reached an agreement with England international Ashley Young and have been able to have him sign a one-year contract extension with the club.

Ashley Young is one of United’s oldest players with claims that the decision by the club was reached to reward the star player for his good form and has been handed a £100,000 weekly wage.

The England international is not only the most respected player at the Old Trafford but he has shown enough commitment at the club with his versatility in play over the years.

It was suggested that the Red Devils will let him leave when his contract expires knowing that he is already running out of age at 34 and will not have much to give to the club again.

However, United are in the business of handing new deals to some of their players as they are not willing to part ways with them anytime soon knowing how difficult it is to secure quality players in the transfer market.

French international striker Anthony Martial is the latest to be handed a new deal before Ashley Young after he had threatened to leave the club following his fallout with former manager Jose Mourinho.
