Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has had a fantastic start to his England career but manager Gareth Southgate wants more from him.

Gareth Southgate has demanded an improvement from him despite his good start as he urged him to continue to work hard on his game.

The England national team manager spoke about his players including Callum Hudson-Odoi in a chat with ITV after the Montenegro game.

Hudson-Odoi was handed his first start against Montenegro and the young Chelsea winger didn’t disappoint as he was the tormentor-in-chief for the hosts who succumbed to a 5-1 defeat at the hands of the Three Lions.

He provided the assist for one of the goals scored by Chelsea teammate Ross Barkley.

England suffered a little setback at the start of the game against Montenegro after Marko Vesovic gave the home team the lead in the 17th minute but England bounced back with a five-star performance.

Everton defender Michael Keane equalised for the visitors in the 30th minute before the aforementioned Barkley added one of his two goals from an assist from Hudson-Odoi nine minutes later.

Ross Barkley added a third goal for the Three Lions in the 59th minute before further goals from Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling made the win more convincing.
