The English Premier League outfit Arsenal have received a major boost as it has been revealed that their main target and Ajax player Hakim Ziyech has requested that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season.

The decision of the star player to leave Ajax has been confirmed by the club which gives the North London outfit Arsenal a major boost to land him in the coming summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old has so far impressed this season as he is a major part of the team that plotted the exit of big European sides Juventus and Real Madrid from the UEFA Champions League this season.

Hakim Ziyech scored a total of 19 goals for Ajax this season and provided 16 others which makes him the player that should join the North London outfit.

However, Unai Emery has identified Hakim Ziyech as a good player who will fit into his team and he is already plotting to land him ahead of the coming season.

Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars has therefore confirmed the player’s departure but did not make any claim on his destination.

But it is suggested that Marc Overmars will help to push the deal for the Gunners team owing to his relationship as a former player.
