Eden Hazard

After spending the last three games on the bench, Eden Hazard might feature for Chelsea, when they play hosts to Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.

The Maurizio Sarri side will welcome Crystal Palace as they look forward to continuing their impressive unbeaten start to the 2018-19 season.

The coach who has overseen ten successive unbeaten games thus far has the chance of equalling a Premier League record unbeaten run at the start of his tenure.

There are doubts as to whether Eden Hazard can start against Crystal Palace. But, the Belgian is available for selection.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is no doubt Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper and should start between the sticks on Sunday. The back four pretty might not change, with Sarri clearly defining the roles of first-team regulars and fringe players who will largely feature in cup competitions.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso are the first-choice full-backs, and at the heart of the Chelsea defense, Antonio Rudiger and David Luiz who have forged an able partnership might be starting tonight’s game.

In the midfield, the coach will have a tough decision to make between Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley. Sarri is expected to give the nod to the Englishman, who has been very impressive in the last few games this season, the rest of the midfield unit should be completed by N’Golo Kante and Jorginho.

In attack, the good news is that Eden Hazard is available. But, he might not be able the full stretch of the match because he has recently returned from injury while Pedro and Willian should be the wingers for Chelsea. The coach might pick Olivier Giroud as his top striker for the game.
