Hector Bellerin

Arsenal Academy head of sports Des Ryan on Spanish right full-back Hector Bellerin seems to have an explanation for why his pace for the North London outfit Arsenal was discovered along the line.

The pacy wing-back joined Arsenal from Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona in 2011 to be with the Academy until he was handed the opportunity of first-team football. No doubt that his pace is a major factor that was considered by the former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Des Ryan, therefore, noted that from the inception, Hector Bellerin was identified as a high-level player who is now at the big stage because of his hard work and dedication, stressing that he is known for his skill and strength.

He noted that while the Spanish star was with the Academy, they ensured the use of functional competence, mobility, stability, flexibility and running technique because of his natural talents which include his speed.

Des Ryan, therefore, stressed that all that happened to Hector Bellerin was an evolution and not a revolution because of the natural talent he has got.

However, Hector Bellerin is now being linked away from the club to Barcelona where he first started as a youth player and there are suggestions that he could be released but for the right fee.
