It has been revealed that former Ma United manager Jose Mourinho made efforts to have defender Luke Shaw sold and replaced but that did not happen until his sack in December last year.

The Portuguese boss could no longer motivate his players and lost the dressing room which is the reason why was asked to leave the club because they could no longer win games as expected.

However, it has been revealed that Luke Shaw is one of those players who fell out with the former Real Madrid and Chelsea coach, hence he was to be replaced and three players were already shortlisted.

It would be recalled that the best of Luke Shaw was not seen as he spent most of the time under Jose Mourinho on the bench.

According to Manchester Evening News, Jose Mourinho had already shortlisted the likes of Alex Sandro, Kieran Tierney and Danny Rose as a replacement for the left-back.

However, the situation is now changed for Luke Shaw as he has been seeing regular football under the new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has been able to help most of the players back to their form.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer started as an interim boss but he has done well to be pronounced as a permanent boss.
