Liverpool midfielder says he is open to competition in the midfield

The Reds new Midfielder, Naby Keita, who moved to Anfield in the summer transfer window has played in 4 of their 4 matches for the Reds this season.

Naby Keita started in 3 matches and played one match from the bench this season.

However, while the 23-year-old midfielder had started for the Reds, his fellow newcomer and defensive midfielder, Fabinho is yet to start or play from the bench for Liverpool since his arrival from Monaco.

In fact, Fabinho only made it to the bench once and that was during the game against West Ham as Klopp insisted that the Brazil international is still learning the ropes.

However, Liverpool midfielder, Naby Keita in a new statement disclosed that he is happy with competition as it will help the team to get better.

Apart from Keita, Klopp has the likes of Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Gini Wijnaldum, Xherdan Shaqiri, as well as the injured duo of Adam Lallana and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to start in his place.

Keita has been spectacular for Liverpool so far and he as settled in well in the shirt No 8 which was last won by Stephen Gerrard.

We, however, do hope that Keita will get to rest in some games as the Liverpool matches get tougher after the international holiday.
