English Premier League outfit Man United have been linked with the signature of France international and Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann but they were scared that he had already agreed on a move to Barcelona.

Reports had claimed that the World Cup winner already agreed on a move to join the Spanish champions after handing in a transfer request to Atletico Madrid at the end of last season and the club already confirming that the former Real Sociedad forward will be sold.

The Red Devils now have no reason to worry as Antoine Griezmann has opened the possibility of a move to the Premier League by not insisting on staying in Spain.

Now that Barcelona are reported to have cooled off their interest in the Frenchman, he is claimed to be ready for any move as long as he can secure enough playing time.

However, Man United will have to cough out £108m, going by the release clause in his contract with the Spanish outfit.

Meanwhile, the player has called for patience over is future, noting that he hopes it is settled as soon as possible so that he can catch his fun and help his new owners.
