Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has disagreed with manager Maurizio Sarri over his decision to quit the West London giants for Juventus this summer.

The Italian international player spoke about Maurizio Sarri and Juventus during the pre-match press conference for the Italian national team ahead of the Euro 2020 qualifier against Greece.

According to him, Sarri would be seen as a betrayer by Napoli fans if he leaves Chelsea to join Juventus this summer since Napoli and Juventus have battled for the league title in Italy for the better part of the last five years.

Jorginho then urged the Chelsea boss to stay at the club.

His position was corroborated by Chelsea teammate and Brazilian-born Italian international Emerson Palmieri at the same press conference.

Maurizio Sarri was Napoli’s manager for three years between 2015 and 2018.

He left Napoli for Chelsea at the start of the season after putting pen to paper on a two-year deal with the option for a third year.

Jorginho left Napoli for Chelsea alongside Maurizio Sarri and the £57m Blues signing wants him to stay at the club.

Maurizio Sarri has already traveled down to Italy for discussions with Juventus with reports claiming that he has been offered a three-year deal worth €7m on a yearly basis.
