There have been reported of rift and unrest in the Manchester United dressing room with insinuations that manager Jose Mourinho might have lost control of it.

It was alleged that Mourinho is at loggerhead with French midfielder Paul Pogba and that the dressing room has been divided with some taking side with the player.

That has been dismissed and regarded as false following the latest revelation by the Sun that the Portuguese boss had asked Pogba for tactical advice in the first half break.

The Red Devils were 2 goals down in the first half but came in the second half to take the day in what appears to be the biggest comeback of the season.

According to reports, the World Cup winner had told Mourinho to have him play a deeper role behind the defenders and suggested the introduction of Marouane Fellaini truly was introduced in the other half. The game was won.

This would have been impossible if there was a rift between the players and the manager with the revelation that they all spoke to one another in the break time for over 8 minutes.

Recall that Mourinho had called the press “liars” as he claimed most of their reports are not true. He has not been in the good books of the media.
