Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed that his leaving Italian champions Juventus to return back to Manchester United was intentional because he was motivated.

Reacting to his condemnation of returning back to England where he has not had it all good, Pogba said he was in need of a first team football and had missed United where he started from.

He noted that he had a good memory of his youth age at the Old Trafford and needed to have the same experience as a more mature player, noting that he enjoys being back home.

Meanwhile, Pogba had earlier insisted on leaving the club because of his rift with United boss Jose Mourinho as they both fell out in the early part of the season.

The French midfielder was accused of being disrespectful to the club and the manager which forced the Portuguese boss to strip him off his captain ban and told he will never lead the club again.

It is understood that Pogba’s only issue at United is the rift he has with Jose Mourinho and will be willing to stay if the manager is shown the way out.

With the confirmation that the former Chelsea boss will be staying, both of them are forced to be at peace with life already returning to normal at the club.
