Liverpool Chief Sends Coutinho Message To Liverpool Fans

Liverpool’s John Henry has thrown some jibes at former club star Phillipe Coutinho ahead of the side’s Champions League clash against Real Madrid this weekend.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has the opportunity to help the Merseysiders win their sixth European Cup in Kiev, but they must try to beat a very strong Real Madrid side.

Liverpool have been impressive this season and they surprised everyone by creeping their way into the final of the competition. They were able to beat the likes of Porto, Manchester City and Roma to seal a final spot.

In the last four years, Liverpool have sold two super players to Barcelona (Luis Suarez and Phillipe Coutinho).

And club president John Henry, when asked, ahead of the game, about Countiho and Suarez, said the duo could have played at Kiev on Saturday, but they will be ‘watching’ alone.

However, on a positive note, in the space of just five months, Coutinho has been able to add two different trophies to his records – the La Liga and the Copa del Rey.

The Brazilian, who has scored 10 times in 22 games for the Camp Nou club, will hope to win the Champions League with them in the nearest future for Barcelons.
