Liverpool Show Interest To Sign 20-Year-Old Midfielder
Five-time European champions Liverpool are the latest club to show interest in signing highly-rated Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
According to Telefoot, Liverpool have joined the race to sign the young French midfielder some weeks before the start of the new transfer window.
Houssem Aouar has earned a lot of plaudits from home and abroad following his impressive start to the season.
The 20-year-old was in sensational form for his Lyon said against Premier League champions Manchester City in the Champions League and he impressed over the two matches played with the Citizens.
He played a big part in the 2-1 win at the home of Manchester City on Matchday 1 before playing an integral part in the 2-2 draw with the Premier League champions in their second game.
Aouar drew high praise from Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola after their latest game in the Champions League.
The player has scored five goals and provided four assists in all competitions for Lyon this season.
Houssem Aouar has found the back of the net on five occasions in the French Ligue 1 this season and also provided an assist for his team.
In the Champions League, he has three assists in five games.
Houssem Aouar has been linked with clubs like Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool.
