Five-time European champions Liverpool have concluded plans to offer striker Divock Origi a new deal at the club according to widespread reports in the media.

The Football Insider claimed that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has been impressed with Divock Origi this season and he’s ready to reward him with a new contract.

Klopp has been impressed with his attitude in the Liverpool training.

Divock Origi has few months left on his current deal with Liverpool having signed for the club in 2014.

The 23-year-old Belgian international player joined Liverpool from former French champions Lille shortly after his superb outing for his country at the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.

He has previously spent loan spells from Liverpool at two clubs before returning to Merseyside at the start of this season.

Origi was loaned to Lille for one season after his transfer in 2004 and he also spent the last campaign at German Bundesliga club VFL Wolfsburg where he scored six goals.

He has made 15 appearances for Liverpool this season including nine appearances from the last 11 games for the Reds in all competitions.
