Man City Tipped For Manchester Derby Win By Ex-Liverpool Star

Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is certain that Premier League champions Manchester City will be too much for city rivals Manchester United when both teams play later this week.

Manchester City and Liverpool are in a two-way battle for the Premier League title with the Reds currently leading the table.

Liverpool are two points ahead of Manchester City having played a game more than the Citizens.

The game in hand for Manchester City is the Manchester Derby clash with hosts Manchester United on Wednesday night and former Liverpool striker Fowler thinks Liverpool should not expect any favours from the Red Devils when they take on their title rivals at home.

A win from Manchester City will take them one point clear of Liverpool in the race for the Premier League title.

After the Manchester Derby, both title chasers have three games left to play in the Premier League this term.

Robbie Fowler talked about the Premier League title race involving his beloved Liverpool while he was being unveiled at a press conference on Monday.

The former Liverpool player was being unveiled after taking up the job as the new manager of Australian side Brisbane Roar.

Robbie Fowler was appointed the new manager at the Australian A-League club at the weekend.
