The English Premier League outfit Man United have received a message from Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti that they will not be having star defender Kalidou Koulibaly at the Old Trafford in the coming summer transfer window.

The Red Devils had hoped that they will land the Napoli central defender who is top in their wish list but that has been smashed by the manager.

The defence is a major target for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he seeks to correct his squad after a very disappointing season while he has the rebuilding of the team as a top agenda as well.

Kalidou Koulibaly would have been a great addition to the Man United team because of his quality. A request was submitted for him by the Red Devils during the reign of former manager Jose Mourinho and it was rejected.

It is claimed that a deal for Kalidou Koulibaly will cost about £132 million, his release clause which Man United are willing to try but from the latest report, they will have to look other directions if they must add strength to their team ahead of the coming seasons.

Meanwhile, a number of players are expected to leave the Old Trafford in this coming summer transfer window.
