When Chelsea signed Sarri Maurizio in the summer transfer window, many football fans were sceptical especially about the fact that he is yet to lift any trophy all through his coaching career.

Chelsea signed the Italy International, Sarri Maurizio from the Italian club, Napoli following the departure of Antonio Conte.

Former Chelsea boss, Conte was forcefully dismissed after he had a fallout with the Blues board, moreover, most of the Blues players were tired of him with many of them on the brim of leaving had Chelsea not sacked him.

Conte matter came to a head after the Blues failed to qualify for the Champions Leagues, despite lifting the FA cup last season, Antonio Conte was shown the door.

The Blues went ahead to sign Sarri which raised eyebrows from different quarters owing to the fact that the former banker is yet to lift a single trophy throughout his coaching career.

However, Sarri Maurizio in a recent update talks on why he is yet to lift a trophy.

According to Sarri, to win a trophy is very difficult in Italy which is while for the past 8 years only Juventus has won a trophy.

He added that in England, it is more difficult with close to 7 clubs being able to win a trophy.

Sarri also revealed that he will appoint the Blues captain next week, it seems the Italian is not ready to select a captain for now and will keep postponing.
