Milan Skriniar

Manchester United’s interest in Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar has now come to an end after the player is reported to be ready for a new deal with the Italian side to have him remain at the club much longer.

According to a report on an Italian website names FCInterNews, the player has made up his mind to say no to other suitors and will pen a new deal before the January transfer window.

It is also reported that the agreement on the improved offer for the player will attract a release clause of £80 million to £100 million for any club interested in his signature.

Reports have it that the player is already aware of United’s interest but will not give his words while Fabio Capello testifies to the fact that United manager Jose Mourinho has made contacts with the player and others as he is sure to add more defenders to his team.

However, the move by Manchester City to play a fast one in securing Skriniar’s signature failed after it was reported that their bid of £65 million was turned down.

Meanwhile, the Portuguese manager will have to look elsewhere for a new addition to his team ahead of the winter transfer window.
