There is more to the Manchester United’s clash against Newcastle than it is being imagined.

It is more than a fight for three points for the Red Devils but a game to prove that the Jose Mourinho-led team has recovered from the winless streak it has suffered in the past 4 games.

The Saturday game as also been speculated as the ultimatum given to the Portuguese manager to either win or be sent packing from the Old Trafford.

However, speaking ahead of the game, the former Chelsea boss hinted that his players have no excuse not to be in shape for the game as they have had enough rest.

Mourinho stated that today (Friday) makes it the third day his players have to recover both physically and mentally after Valencia’s disappointing draw on Tuesday night.

He noted that some were given the grace to rest and the Friday training was the first time the entire squad were meeting altogether.

The self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ however admits that this season remains a record season for United negatively and there is no doubt about it.

This is the second time since 1998 that the Red Devils went four games without a win and that has not gone well with the fans.
