Mourinho’s worst United signing discovered

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has had a number of buys since his arrival at the Old Trafford but seems not satisfied yet and has continued to insist on more buys.

The Portuguese coach had a bust-up with Ed Woodward over the failure of the board to grant him the wish of signing more defenders but one could argue that he makes do with what he has. To him much is given, much should also be expected.

Howbeit, most of the big signings by Jose Mourinho still struggle to stand on their feet and it has contributed to why United are yet to secure a title win.

While pundits and former players have blamed Mourinho for their unsatisfactory performance, the likes of Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Alexis Sanchez and Eric Bailly have all struggled to make an impact.

But their case might not be as awful as Victor Lindelof who arrived at the Old Trafford n 2017 from Benfica, He has failed to make a name for himself.

This is obvious that a fairly large 69% of supporters in a pool were able to call him out as the worst addition by Mourinho.

Some will blame the ‘Special One’ for his predicament as the entire defence paraded by United this season has been unconvincing so far.
