Lyon attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir will allegedly be handed a choice over which team he joins this summer transfer window, with Man Utd and Liverpool interested.

The Lyon star was close to joining the Reds for £53million this summer window, before the French club reportedly called off talks after liverpool asked for an alternate opinion during his medical examination.

The forward’s representative has claimed that the transfer could still happen despite the several hitches.

But any updates are likely to come after the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia, with the attacker part of France’s squad.

Handed free choice
Now, the Mirror are suggesting that the French side could hand him a free choice over a transfer this summer, window with both teams still keen on a possible transfer.

When questioned whether the Merseysider’s were trying to reduce his valuation by airing worries over the player’s knee, Fekir answered he is here with the French national team, and that he is happy with the national team, and doesn’t want to discuss his personal situation.

He confirmed he’ll see about all the transfer speculations later on after the summer FIFA World cup.

Fekir, however, stated that his knee is very good, claiming he works a lot on the knee, and strengthen it.
