Liverpool had a lone goal against Huddersfield last night all thanks to Mo Salah.

Prior to the commencement of the match, there had been doubts if the Egypt star will start against Huddersfield having sustained an injury while on international duty for his home country in the AFCON qualifiers.

Unlike last season when Mo Salah earned the highest goal scorer in the EPL, this season had seen him played 5 matches without him scoring a single goal for the Reds until last night.

Mo Salah following a nice pass from Xherdan Shaqiri went on to score the lone goal for the Reds thus helping them to get all three points.

However, Mo Salah in a post-match statement disclosed he had never been worried about his goal drought.

Salah in a statement revealed that the most important thing for him is to help Liverpool get points in every game.

On his goal drought, Mo Salah said, “I wasn’t worried, I don’t worry.”

He stressed that the end of the game saw Liverpool get ”the three points. I think we had to fight. We knew that before the game so everyone was at 100%.”

Liverpool are now seated at the second spot on the English Premier League table adrift Man City who are maintaining the first spot.
