Ozil reveals one major reason why the team is happy
The North London outfit Arsenal have been able to push their way to the third position in the league table after defeating Newcastle by 2-0 on Monday night.
German international and Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has noted that the team is not only happy that they were able to secure a win in the game and move to the third position but there is feeling to be ahead of their North London rivals Tottenham.
The former Real Madrid start noted that it has always been a great competition between his Arsenal team and Tottenham, stressing that the aim of the team is also to finish in the top-four.
He, therefore, stressed that should the team repeat the same level of performance against other teams, they will win the remaining few games left to be able to cement their place.
However, the Gunners have missed out of the Champions League for two seasons and will hope to finally return should they remain consistent till the end of the season.
The Gunners manager Unai Emery was given the target to return the team back to the Champions League and there is a chance that he would achieve just that if the team remain focused.
