French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are increasingly confident that they will sign highly rated Ajax Amsterdam defender Matthijs De Ligt ahead of other interested clubs like Barcelona, Manchester City and Liverpool.

This is according to the publication from the stables of the Daily Mail which claimed that the confidence of the French giants have grown in the last 24 hours after talks were held with the player and his agent.
