European champions Real Madrid are planning to replace unsettled forward Gareth Bale when the transfer window reopens in summer.

This is according to reports emanating from the Spanish media.

It was revealed that Real Madrid want to sell Gareth Bale who is said to be having a difficult time at the club.

The Welsh international was booed at the weekend by his own fans after he was substituted during the league game with arch-rivals Barcelona.

Real Madrid lost that Barcelona game 1-0 courtesy the first half goal from Croatian international midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

Media outlet Don Balon claim that Real Madrid are plotting a summer move for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) star Kylian Mbappe.

Real Madrid have made Mbappe their number one target in their quest to replace Gareth Bale this summer.

Bale has been linked with several Premier League clubs including West London giants Chelsea.

Kylian Mbappe has impressed a great deal for French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) since his move to the club from fellow French top flight side AS Monaco at the start of last season.

He initially joined PSG on loan before the French capital club made the loan transfer a permanent one in a deal reported to be worth at least £133m plus add-ons thus making him the second most expensive player in world football behind club teammate Neymar.
