An attempt by Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid to act fast by snapping up the signature of Portuguese outfit Benfica star Joao Felix has failed with the club rejecting a bid.

It is reported that Real Madrid submitted a bid of €80 million to lure the club into releasing the Star Player but that was unsuccessful as it was turned down.

Joao Felix has been in the radar of the English Premier League outfit and there are already plans by the Red Devils to make a bid for him as well.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has penned down the Benfica star as a major target for the summer transfer window, hoping to make him a major part of the rebuilding process.

Last season was a disappointing one for Man United as some of the players are now known to be seeking a move away from the club which has affected their commitment on the pitch.

Now that it has been observed, a number of them will be shown the way out why new players are expected to join.

The Red Devils boss has the backing of his management which makes the capture of the Benfica star a possibility before the end of the summer transfer window.
