Rio Ferdinand

Just days ago, Man United legend Ryan Giggs revealed how he hated a number of Arsenal players, including Patrick Vieira, Emmanuel Petit and others when he was in active football because of the rivalry between both teams.

The same cannot be said of Rio Ferdinand especially now that he is making a big case for Arsenal players to be part of the England national team under manager Gareth Southgate.

The England national team has been cheering up and bolstering with young players and that seems to be the secret for Gareth Southgate who has been doing good with the national team.

No wonder the English team did well at the 2018 World Cup as they were eliminated in the semi-finals to Croatia and they are already in June’s Nations League finals after topping their group.

Rio Ferdinand has hailed the England boss stating that he is now having it good with the job. He, therefore, stated that he will like to see other young players join the national team as he made mention of Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson.

Meanwhile, Reiss Nelson has impressed this season on his loan spell at the German Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim as he has scored six goals so far.
