Roman Abramovich swoop in to seal huge £89m double transfer deal – report

Chelsea billionaire, Roman Abramovich has put in extra effort to make Stamford Bridge comfortable for former Napoli coach, Sarri Maurizio following the departure of Antonio Conte.

One of the ways he intends to do this is to sign double players from the Italian league.

The duo of Juventus forward, Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani have been linked to the Blues since the end of last season – But nothing has materialised.

However, latest report disclosed the Russian oligarch has jetted out to Italy himself to speak to the two players – And also table an offer worth £89 million for the duo.

This means the duo of Higuain and Rugani is to be expected at Stamford Bridge for their medical fitness test any time soon, that is if the deal works out.

It is believed that Sarri Maurizio will be so glad to have Argentine forward, Higuain at Stamford Bridge., as the two have once shared a similar past before the Argentina international moved to Juventus.

Chelsea will be keen on wanting to bring Higuain on board especially with the fact that Eden Hazard has refused to change his mind over wanting to leave Chelsea.

On the other hand, Daniele Rugani is one defender that would be put to valuable use at Chelsea.
