Sarri frays players for woeful defending!!
24 hours ago, Chelsea stopped being the only unbeaten side in all of Top 5 leagues in Europe as they were humbled at the Wembley by Tottenham 3-1.
After the game, Maurizio Sarri in his post-match didn’t hold back any words has he criticized what he considers a shabby and woeful team performance.
The visiting side were dreadful in every phase of the game, and their coach was perfectly justified for laying into them in the way he did although pundits have questioned his own tactical decisions too ultimately it was the players on the pitch who were disappointing.
Chelsea who rode on the fact they have been unbeaten throughout this campaign never looked too sturdy when attacked, and some good fortune combined with easy fixtures has helped them to their unbeaten start, however, their performance was nothing to write home about.
coach blamed the players for their very poor defending, while also emphasizing that conceding two early goals in the 16 minutes was not good enough for a team challenging for the premier league tittle.
That’s not to say we haven’t looked very impressive at times, but this kind of game has been coming.
It will be fascinating to see how we react now.
