Sevilla Pull Out Of Race To Sign Chelsea Striker

Spanish La Liga club Sevilla have pulled out of the race to sign unsettled Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata

London Evening Standard say that the Andalusian club was not able to meet up with the financial demands required to pull off a deal for the former Juventus and Real Madrid star.

It was further revealed that the former Europa League winners have already had a £40m bid turned down for the player.

Latest reports claim that fellow Spanish side Atletico Madrid are the latest club to show an interest in Morata.

The future looks bleak for Spanish international Alvaro Morata at Chelsea after failing to live up to fans’ expectations at Stamford Bridge since his multi-million pounds move from European champions Real Madrid at the start of last season.

Chelsea were said to have paid around £60m to secure his transfer from the Los Merengues.

There have been talks of a Chelsea move for AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain as a replacement for Morata.

Earlier reports claimed that the two players will move in the other direction in a swap deal but there’s still a long way to go.

Higuain has already requested for his AC Milan loan to be canceled as he holds out for a Chelsea transfer.
