Former United flop close to EPL Return

Shinji Kagawa

West Ham United and Everton are both scrambling for the signature of Manchester United flop, Shinji Kagawa who is currently playing in the German Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund.

Kagawa earned the hype that ensured his move to the Emirates Stadium only to score six times in 57 appearances for United during a two-year stint. That obviously was not enough to keep him at the club.

It remains the same story for the 29-year-old Japan midfielder who has only four appearances for Borussia Dortmund this season.

He seems to be close to a return to the English Premier League with Everton and West Ham United seeking for his signature to boost their various teams.

Everton are said to have been monitoring the former Red Devils player closely and Calciomercato reports that West Ham have now also joined the race for the midfielder with both teams having an ambition for the January transfer window.

There is no doubt that either of the clubs with the highest bid will be sure to have Kagawa as he is no longer needed at the German club.

It has been revealed that he would be replaced by the club not minding if he leaves the club in January or not.
