Tiemoue Bakayoko

AC Milan midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko might have played his last game for the club after he clashed with club manager Gennaro Gattuso during the league win over Bologna on Monday night.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is on a season-long loan deal with the Italian Serie A giants from Premier League club Chelsea.

The French midfielder appeared to insult his manager with some prohibited words in the first half of the Bologna game.

The incident happened shortly after AC Milan legend Gattuso told his player to go back to the bench following his lukewarm attitude when asked to replace the injured Lucas Biglia.

The AC Milan manager opted for Jose Mauri who came on as a 27th-minute substitute for the injured Biglia instead of the aforementioned Bakayoko.

When asked about the insults directed towards him by one of his players, Gattuso told reporters after the Bologna game that he will treat the matter in the four walls of the dressing room and that he will be happy for Bakayoko to repeat his misdemeanor while they are in an enclosed space.

The clash between Gattuso and Bakayoko overshadowed a 2-1 win for AC Milan against Bologna as both sides finished the game with ten men.

Suso and Fabio Borini scored the goals for Milan either side of the halftime interval while Matteo Destro halved the deficit against his former club to setup a grandstand finish which didn’t yield an equaliser for the visitors.
