Thibaut Courtois yet to resume at Stamford Bridge as move to Real Madrid lingers on

Five days after Chelsea goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois is supposed to arrive for training at the club, the Belgium international is yet to resume.

Courtois should have resumed at Chelsea immediately after their game against Manchester City in the Community Shield of which they lost 2 goals to nothing.

The Belgium International had extended his holiday following his participation in the World Cup tournament in Russia for his home country.

But with the look of things he has refused to resume amidst speculations that he wants a transfer to European champions,  Real Madrid.

Thibaut Courtois has been linked with a move to Spain, where he hopes to join Real Madrid.

The goalkeeper has stated he wants to leave England because of his children, who are in Madrid with his partner.

However, Chelsea FC have disclosed in a statement that they wouldn’t let the goalkeeper go unless they get a replacement.

Chelsea new coach, Sarri Maurizio made it known he is uncertain about the future of Courtois at Stamford Bridge.

Thibaut Courtois move to Chelsea from Belgian club Genk in 2011 and spending his first three years on loan at Atletico Madrid before overtaking Petr Cech as Number one Goalie at Stamford Bridge.
