Three Premier League (PL) teams are battling to secure a loan deal for Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke when the transfer window reopens next week.

The interest of these clubs was made known by the BBC.

Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town and Brighton and Hove Albion are the clubs keen to take former Chelsea attacker Solanke on loan till the end of the season.

Dominic Solanke signed for Liverpool last summer on a free transfer from rivals Chelsea shortly after helping the England team win the FIFA U-20 World Cup tournament.

The 21-year-old won the Golden Ball Award at the end of the tournament.

He has struggled to impose himself on the Reds first team since he joined from Chelsea.

The young English striker scored once in 27 appearances for Liverpool in the last campaign with 21 of those coming in the Premier League.

His solitary goal for Liverpool came against Brighton and Hove Albion on the last day of last season.

Solanke has not played for Liverpool all this term and he could leave Anfield on loan with several clubs willing to offer him a short-term deal.

Apart from the above-mentioned clubs, Scottish giants Rangers and Newcastle United are also interested in the player.
