Honigstein told reporters that a close source to the Gunners’ dressing room revealed to him that there’s nothing wrong between both parties as Ozil and Emery often discuss during training sessions.
Emery always gives a ‘tactical reason’ as his reason behind his decision to overlook the German star from his team in recent games.
Honigstein confirmed that Ozil is suffering from the manager’s tactical approach to games which doesn’t suit his style of play.
The 30-year-old midfielder was left out of Arsenal’s 5-1 defeat to Liverpool and he was equally not in the team who defeated Fulham 4-1 on new year’s day.
There are speculations surrounding Ozil’s future at the North London club as a result of his lack of regular action at the Emirates stadium.
