Arsenal boss has spoken of contract rebel Aaron Ramsey following his performance at the Carabao Cup win against Blackpool on Wednesday night.

The Wales international was involved in the game with the Gunners winning 2-1, all thanks to goals from Stephan Litscterner and Smith Emile for winning the game for the team.

Emery stated that the player was doing well and still in high spirit without being disturbed by the situation of his contract with the club.

It has been revealed that the former Cardiff City midfielder has been told he will not be allowed to leave the club until June as a free player because of the need for him despite not handed a deal.

This raised concerned that the player might be let down with the development having hinted that he was ready and only waiting for the club for talks on a new contract for him.

The Spanish manager, therefore, dismissed the concerns raised by stating that he had spoken with the player and he got a positive feedback from him, adding that Ramsey had showcased a high spirit and quality especially with his performance in training and in matches.

Emery said no need to be worried because Ramsey already understands the situation at hand and will give his best to the team until he leaves.
