English Premier League side Manchester United have been warned to stay away from desperate star player Yannick Carrasco in this January winter transfer window.

United have been handed the advice by Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur who claims that the Old Trafford side have no need of the player at the moment.

The Red Devils are reported to now be monitoring the star winger with the hope that a deal for him can be sealed before the end of January but that will no longer happen if they yield to the advice.

Yannick Carrasco is very desperate to quite the Chinese base side where he currently plays having left Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Marid. He is now keen to return to Europe and will jump at any offer available for him.

The North London outfit Arsenal are understood to be in the position to sign the player but there has been a delay with the Gunners team yet to make a final decision on the move.

The Belgian journalist noted that Yannick Carrasco wants to leave China to England where he would be closer to home but stressed that United have got a number of players who play in same position and style like the former Atletico Madrid star.
