United will still land Steven Bergwijn in summer window

It has been suggested that English Premier League outfit Manchester United will still land flying Dutch winger Steven Bergwijn in the coming summer transfer window.

Sky Sports News reports that the Red Devils will no longer secure the service of the Dutch star in this winter window as it is expected to end in coming hours.

It was not made clear the reason why the deal failed to work through but it has been hinted that the Red Devils have been priced away from having Steven Bergwijn, knowing their small budget.

According to reports, the sum of £30m have been set as the asking price for the 21-year old PSV Eindhoven and the Red Devils have got no financial budget as heavy as that.

Steven Bergwijn has been tipped to be one of the best young attacking talents in Europe which is the reason why top European clubs have paid attention to him.

However, Sky Sports reports that United’s Head of Global Scouting, Dutchman Marcel Bout is a big fan of the star player and will ensure that the club returns with a bid for him in the coming winter window.

So far this season, Steven Bergwijn has scored a total of ten goals and ten assists in the 26 games under his belt.
