Why I am interested in Europa League, Petr Cech

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has revealed why he has more interest in the Europa League than any other competition so far this season.

There is no doubt that the legendary goalkeeper will be in between the sticks owing to the fact that he has been ousted by newcomer Bernd Leno as the first choice goalkeeper who keeps the Premier League, based on the manager’s policy.

However, Petr Cech has hinted that he has his attention on the Europa League because of the ideal scenario to end his career by winning it with the North London outfit.

It would be recalled that the former Chelsea stopper announced that he would retire from active football at the end of the season which with suggestions that he could pick up a coaching role after being handed the opportunity by Arsenal and Chelsea.

With the North London outfit expected to play BATE Borisov in Belarus later today, Petr Cech has stated that his side are already prepared and will hope to secure a win in the game to be able to push stand the chance of winning the trophy.

However, the Gunners are being gifted with Unai Emery who has got the experience of winning the Europa League, having won it on three occasions with Sevilla.
