Daniel Sturridge

North London giants Arsenal have been advised to sign Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge on a free transfer this summer.

According to former Premier League striker Clinton Morrison, England international Sturridge will add quality to an Arsenal frontline already equipped with the duo of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Clinton Morrison talked about Daniel Sturridge and Arsenal while he was on British radio TalkSport.

He also recommended the former Chelsea player to other Premier League sides like Leicester City and Crystal Palace.

Arsenal have released striker Danny Welbeck after the expiration of his contract and the Gunners will be hoping to sign a replacement for him ahead of the new season.

Clinton Morrison believes Daniel Sturridge will do a good job at Arsenal.

Liverpool have announced that the striker would be released at the end of his contract this month meaning that he’s able to move to any other club on a free transfer.

Daniel Sturridge has been a Liverpool player since joining the Reds from rivals Chelsea in January 2013.

Since his move from Chelsea, Daniel Sturridge has scored 60 goals in 160 appearances for the Reds.

His time as a Liverpool player has been blighted by various injury problems and that has ultimately affected his productivity for the six-time European champions.
